BeingVets.com takes the protection of copyrights very seriously and is committed to following the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") to the fullest extent possible.
If you believe that material located on or linked to by BeingVets.com infringes your copyright, please send a notice containing the following information to our designated copyright agent:
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site, with enough detail that we may find it on the website.
- Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
- An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
Once a proper DMCA notice has been received, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the user who posted such material, who may then submit a counter-notification claiming lawful use. If a counter-notification is received, we will provide a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party and may replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in ten (10) business days.
